Advice to the Single-Unmarried

I want to take a moment to speak to young men who are seeking a wife, also, to young ladies wanting a husband.

Young man, if you have an addiction to pornography, do not be deceived to believe that marriage is going to fix this for you. Please deal with this sin BEFORE you marry. Pray, repent, confess your sin; go to men you trust to help overcome this sin first. You will hurt and destroy another person if you do not do this first.

Young woman, if you have such an addiction, I advise you to do the same. If you do not have such a struggle and begin to suspect the young man you are dating-courting has this problem…RUN AWAY as fast as you can unless he is willing to admit his sin and deal with it BEFORE he marries you.
This is my advice to my daughters.

Please…PLEASE…take this advice.

Also, elders and parents, please do not facilitate this false idea either. I repeat…MARRIAGE DOES NOT FIX this kind of DESTRUCTIVE SIN…rather this sin–crouching at the door, ready to devour–will destroy the marriage and the home and ALL the lives involved.

Self-control, by prayer, the word of God, in the Holy Spirit and openness and honesty, IS POSSIBLE. It is our promise that we are partakes of the divine nature…in Christ all things are possible. Amen.

One Common Life Ministry to People in Need

Below I am posting here a privilege I had this past weekend. As a result of this meeting of David I have a growing desire to help provide necessary items such as shoes, clothing, etc. along with Bibles, Gospel tracts, and other types of assistance to those in need in my area such as David. If anyone has a desire to help me with this please pray about donating through the link below. I will give regular updates on the progress I make and what the funds are used for and to whom they help. God bless you. We are all a part of this one common life in Christ and I feel a responsibility to help those in need…those who my Lord Jesus Christ came to save by His death and resurrection. Thank you.

This past Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at the park I stopped and met David, a homeless man that I have seen each time I’ve been to this park. My beautiful wife will remember him. I do not have any money to give him, but I did offer him any help I could. I offered him a Gospel tract and told him I was a Christian. He said that he was too. I told him is it was nice to meet a brother in Christ. I told him a little about myself and my family. He seemed to remember when my wife and I with our children walked by when we would come walk around the lake here. He said that he is here at the Spark’s Marina Park during the day and at the river at night. I told him each time I am here I will stop and talk with him. I will keep David in my prayers. Please pray for David too. God’s mercy and love is unfathomable! May His glory fill the earth!
